Remaining Anonymous on The Net

On the Internet, people can say whatever they want and remain anonymous. Of course, some people are trolls. But some people just want to share something with the world such as a song, or an opinion.

These people remain anonymous for various reasons. Some people don’t want to suffer any backlash for what they want to share with the world. Other people remain anonymous because they don’t want to be recognized for what they do. Basically, when it comes to anonymous Youtubers, bloggers, etc, they are no different than journalists who write under pen names or bands who wear masks both on stage and during interviews. I think that people should have the right to be on websites such as YouTube, share what they want with the world, and remain anonymous. But some people would disagree with me.

There’s this female YouTuber that I came across who wears a mask and alters her voice. Recently, there’s this other YouTuber who tried to reveal her identity by placing a picture of a woman over the mask. First off, where did the douche bag get the picture from, and how he know that’s really her? Secondly, this douche bag has nothing to gain by exposing the identity of another YouTuber.

The douche bag in question is Brett Keane. Since Brett Keane likes to make YouTube videos where he gives his name and shows his face, he is a public figure. Therefore, I’m calling him out on his douchebaggary.

That’s my rant for today. Don’t forget to check out my business WebSite at XPoint0Media.com
